The kid is seriously good, what can we say. Congrats buddy!

Last month I did an interview with RIDE UK about Éclat’s new range of parts including the Jaw rim, Nathans plastic pegs/stem and the strain forks (due for release 2014). I also talked a little about Éclat’s design process and how we approach things.
Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, anyone who likes to geek out on the details of a seat, take note.

Since the pivotal mechanism got established so did a certain look to this type of seat, with most brands offering near identical designs. We wanted to build a stronger seat but also express a more assertive and considered aesthetic.
We all get mad when we ride sometimes, especially Shane who even though he is trying to curve his anger, still has some troubles containing his voice. This is pretty funny and reminds me of his b-side anger management clips. We caught up with Shane to hear his side of ‘getting mad’. Thanks to Nathan for doing this! (more…)
Darryl is an OG eclat rider and one that never seems to settle in one place for too long, which works for him. He recently made another move to further his eagerness for street riding. I caught up with him to see how things were going and what projects he has on the go. (more…)
The ZAP grips are new from eclat, and they are made for people like myself. Part 3 of our #freeandsleazy tour took us all the way into Europe, starting in the U.K and working our twisted path down into France and over to Germany. This video is the result of 10 days in Europe featuring Sean Burns, Shane Weston, IZ Pulido, Chester Blacksmith, an injured Darryl Tocco and the return of Ashley Charles. Phil Demattia was around for the U.K leg and Dennis Erndhart was there for the German days.
Filmed and edited by Will Evans.
